Is there a minimum charge for small jobs?
Yes — like every insured trade, we have a minimum service call so a fifteen-minute fix doesn't cost us money to drive to. The smart move is to stack your list: if we're already there, the second, third and fourth item cost you far less than four separate visits. What kind of work won't you take?
We handle general repairs, carpentry, drywall, doors, trim, mounting, fixtures, and minor plumbing and electrical. We don't take on structural work, re-piping, panel changes, roof replacement or anything that legally calls for a specialty trade contractor. If your job needs that, we'll tell you straight instead of learning on your house.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
Whichever is fairer for the work. Defined tasks — hang a TV, replace a fixture, patch drywall — get a flat price up front. Open-ended punch lists and "while you're here" work are usually hourly, quoted with a not-to-exceed number so it can't run away from you.
How fast can you get out here?
Most handyman requests get scheduled within a few days, and we hold slots for urgent items like a door that won't lock or water where it shouldn't be. Call rather than email if it's time-sensitive — we answer fast.
